Aquaz Carbon Premium™

Carbon Premium™ is made up of superior grade steam-activated carbon which will eliminate toxic gases, toxins, heavy-metals, organic and chemical contaminants in fresh and saltwater aquariums.

In its granular form, Carbon Premium™ is superactivated with very high iodine and molasses number. It also provides greater surface area to maximize contact time between the media and water, thus optimizing the water purification process. (+Iodine and molasses numbers)

Carbon Premium™ assures a low leachable phosphate and ash content. It will not promote undesirable algae growth and has minimum impact on the pH level in your aquarium. With its consistency in material grade, Carbon Premium™ will easily outperform other brands of carbon. Recommended to use with a media reactor for optimum results.

Directions of use :
Before administration, rinse the carbon thoroughly under running tap water and place the desired amount in either a polyester bag or filter chamber. As a general rule of thumb, use 1 gram of Carbon Premium™ per gallon of water. It is recommended to position it at high water flow area for maximum effect.

Content :
Steam activated Bituminous coal in pellet form.
Shape Granular, Size 0.5 mm - 2.8 mm, Phosphate Leachable < 0.012 mg / cc, Surface Area 1250, pH 7 - 7.1, Iodine No 1200, Density 0.48 g / mL.

Precautions :
Use gloves if possible and always mix outside the tank. Avoid contact and inhalation of particles. In the case of eye or skin contact, rinse under running water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.

Size : 500 mL.

Fritz Phosphate Remover

Phosphate and silicates pollute your reef, pond and aquarium water. Introduced through tap water addition, water changes, fish waste, uneaten fish food, decaying plant matter, rainwater, runoff, plant fertilizers and many low-grade reef salts, phosphates are the main nutrient contributing to water clarity and suspended and substrate dependent matter. This matter is unsightly, may cause pH imbalance, choke out plants and corals, damage the gills of fish and cause the hobbyist much frustration. Limiting nutrient sources is the best way to maintain a crystal clear, beautiful and low-maintenance reef tank, aquarium and pond.

Many other phosphate removers are known for having a negative effect on soft corals. With unique manufacturing and the lowest impurity rating on the market, Fritz Phosphate Remover is safe for use with all reef animals. When used with pH-sensitive soft corals such as leathers, test pH and adjust accordingly before use. Adjust pH once every 12 hours while using phosphate remover to maintain the proper pH. Corals will thrive in low-phosphate water; your reef tank will thank you!

Not all phosphate removers are the same. Be aware that though phosphate removers reduce phosphate content, many do not bring phosphate levels down low enough to have a visible effect on the substrate dependent matter. Also, inferior methods of phosphate removal (such as liquids) have a slower response time or do not remove phosphates- they simply change it into a slightly less toxic form. Fritz Phosphate Remover utilizes hi-tech processing to create a unique, superior alumina sponge which rapidly reduces phosphates to nearly zero. Phosphate levels are drastically cut in hours! Many other brands will only reduce the phosphate level down to just over 2 ppm, and most methods take several days to take any effect. Fritz Phosphate Remover also eliminates silicates in the water, and therefore has a larger effect on the growth in the tank. Completely harmless to all reef invertebrates, fish, wildlife and plants, Fritz Phosphate Remover is the premiere method for rapidly and permanently eliminating phosphates- at bargain pricing. Never hassle with RO again! No need to "scrub down" the system! It's the low-maintenance solution for a beautiful aquarium, reef.
